Trillium Grant: Were pleased to announce that we were successful with our application from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and in August 2007 were awarded a $75,000 grant for the construction of a new kitchen at the community centre. We will continue to work closely with the Kendal Community Centre Board and the Municipality of Clarington and hope to have the new kitchen fully operational as soon as possible. We hope to hear good news soon from the Municipality regarding the tendering process. (Feb/08)..............................
Congratulations to Lion Ray Christopher on receiving the Melvin Jones Fellowship award, presented in December 2007 to Lion Ray from PID Lion Terry Graham. A first for our young club!
